A picture speaks a thousand words and visual artist Kerrie Warren, abstract expressionist, has inspired a tree loving photographic collaboration with colleagues Dr Aunty Eileen Harrison, Kurnai artist and co-author, and Darryl Whitaker, professional cinematographer.

Each artist has a history of embracing trees as both subject matter and backdrop for visual story and creative exploration in their otherwise diverse practices. Here they come together Beneath the Canopies to launch the outcome of their collaboration on the long wall in the Atrium Gallery, Frankston Arts Centre during South Side Festival.
