Stellar Short Film Festival

Stellar is a carefully curated fusion of film, food and beverages, art and entertainment, with McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery proving to be the perfect venue.

Returning for its fourth year, Stellar will showcase the very best of Australian short films from the 2020–2022 circuit, shortlisted from the winners of over 75 film festivals around the country. Entries are by invitation only, with an anticipated 100 award winning films starting on the shortlist, and the final ‘Stellar 12’ being announced in January 2023. The selected films will compete on the night for significant prizes, with winners selected by a panel of industry judges, as well as an audience choice award.

General Admission guests will receive entry to the Sculpture Park where they can wander through the bushland and enjoy an afternoon of outdoor art, tunes from a live DJ and the chance to relax on the lawns, before settling in for the film festival. An array of quality food, sweets and beverages will be available to purchase from local stallholders on the night.
