Located less than an hour from Melbourne, Frankston is so easy to get to!
By Car
Travelling by car to Frankston couldn’t be easier, and depending on how you prefer to travel there are two options available.
EastLink tollway is the fastest and most direct route and Nepean Highway is a scenic drive taking you along the coast and through some of Melbourne’s more affluent bayside suburbs. If you travel along EastLink, make sure you buy a trip pass to avoid fines.

By Public Transport
Frankston Train Station is located in the heart of the city and makes catching trains, buses and taxis a breeze.
Trains depart Frankston Station for Melbourne every 10-20 minutes and the Stony Point train service runs a number of times a day.
Buses are also readily available from the station, taking you further into the Mornington Peninsula and throughout the surrounding south-east region.
You will need a reusable Myki card to travel on Victorian buses, trams and trains. Purchase a myki card from any 7-Eleven store, the ticket office window at premium stations (including Frankston Station), or from a Myki machine (full fare cards only) located at all train stations and major bus interchanges, online at
www.ptv.vic.gov.au, by calling 1800 800 007 or at one of 800 other retailers.

By Plane
Yes this festival is so good - why would folks not want to fly in?
Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne’s largest international and domestic terminal, is located 25km north-west of the Melbourne CBD.
There are various transport options from the airport including the Peninsula Express SkyBus direct to Frankston, or to Southern Cross Station (Melbourne) with connecting trains, taxis or rental cars to Frankston.
Privately hired cars are also available to take you directly to and from the airport and your accommodation.

By Boat
A regular car-ferry crosses Port Phillip Bay, linking the Mornington Peninsula to Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road.
