Ellis’s photographs are celebrated for their warmth, non-judgmental approach, and focus on human interaction and remain an enduring affirmation of his times.
In a career that spanned forty years, Rennie founded Brummels Galleryin 1972, Australia's first photography gallery, which helped redefine photography as a fine art, a vast collection of photographs that celebrate life, over 20 published books, numerous awards, and an enduring influence on Australian photography.
