Moon Sailors is an enchanting, free-roaming puppet performance that brings the Peninsula's ecosystem to life!
Inspired by the Australian picture book Moon Sailors (Naomi Woodward, Ford Street Publishing), marine puppets designed and built by A Blanck Canvas, and transcending music composed by Melbourne music producer Timothy Coghill (Hobart Chamber Orchestra) will excite a new generation to be caretakers of our home planet.
A true testament to the power of art to inspire and uplift, Moon Sailors is an unforgettable exploration of the natural world, celebrating our role in caring for our planet.
Roaming constellation whales and captivating critters will transport you from the vibrant rock pools at our doorstep to the vast expanse of the universe long after the performance ends…
Moon Sailors acknowledges the Bunurong people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we share our stories.
